How to convert OGG to AIFF

  1. Install Ferrocast (below).
  2. Drag your OGG file, or select it in the launcher.
  3. Tap ⇧ for the conversion wheel (or press ⌥↵ on a file result).
  4. Release over AIFF. The copy is saved beside the original.

What this pair needs

This pair needs ffmpeg, which is optional and not bundled with Ferrocast. If it is missing, Ferrocast shows the install command: brew install ffmpeg.

Is my OGG file uploaded anywhere?

No. Conversions run on your Mac; nothing is uploaded.

Will it overwrite my original?

No. The result is written next to the original with the same name and the new extension. If that name is taken it adds 2, 3 and so on.

Do I need to install anything besides Ferrocast?
